Many countries are represented including Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom & the United States. (A country must have at least ten entries to qualify for the Best of Country award.)

Contest Calendar

  • 19 May 2020 Entry Form Submission: The entry form, a self addressed stamped envelope, .jpg images and an A$20 non-refundable entry fee for each item entered must be submitted and postmarked no later than 19 May 2020. The online entry form (including entries by e-mail) closes at midnight (Australian Eastern Standard time), 19 May 2020.
  • 9 June 2020 Notification & Instructions: Notification of the decision of Jurors and instructions for quilt shipment will be sent to selected entrants by 9 June 2020.
  • 1 July 2020 Delivery of Quilts: All accepted entries must be shipped or delivered by this date to the Australian Coordinator at PO Box 4033, Copacabana NSW 2251 together with payment of A$40 per quilt.

Quilt Return

Quilts will be returned to Australia via UPS or other promoter designated shipper. Quilts will be insured for US$1,000 on return shipping. Quilts will be returned shipped following The Quilt & Sewing Fest of New Jersey, no later than December 2020. Arrival times in Australia will vary due to shipping and customs procedures. Quilts will then be returned to entrants via Australia Post.
